MAKERS DAY CAMP
Three months of summer vacation is just around the corner … what are your kids going to do? What about an activity that’ll get kids excited about exploring, learning and creating?
Hope Church is excited to offer Makers Day Camp, a unique summer program modeled on the Maker Movement, available to students finishing Kindergarten - 5th. The Maker Movement, which is spreading in popularity, provides a platform for participants to tap into their creativity and explore new things.
We will be blending art, design and engineering based upon STEAM learning (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math). We are excited to help your student focus their energy on making art and designing solutions in a collaborative setting that allows campers to develop their own ideas and share them with each other.
We can’t wait to guide your campers through these classes in order to develop their Maker mindset and support them through their making process.
Each day, there will be TWO DIFFERENT PROJECTS for the same activity theme. Your child can come for the morning or afternoon session. Or, pack your child a lunch, and he or she is welcome to stay with us for the day.

Have you ever opened a box of Macaroni and Cheese and wondered how the pasta is made? Did you know homemade pasta only takes four ingredients? With a little technique and good instruction you can make homemade pasta too. Join us as we dive into the world of pasta and learn how to make it. By the end of the lesson you will be able to take home two different kinds of delicious pasta to enjoy with your family.
Kids build and program Lego robots to compete in a BattleBot championship! The robots will battle and the designers of the "last robot standing” for each round will win ribbons.
